This is an 8 weeks fitness and weight loss challenge. Tiazza's students will compete for several prizes.

There are 2 competition categories:
  • Fitness challenge
  • Weight loss challenge
You must specify which category you would like to compete in when you apply. Then participate in as many classes and events as you can to collect points. You will be weighted several times during the 8 weeks and there will be 2 winners chosen at the end: one for the fitness category and one for the weight loss category.





















The first meeting and weight-in will take place Tuesday January 3rd, 2012 at 7pm at Santo Community Center. You can come to the meeting to complete your application, receive your challenge package and get your first weight-in recorded. If you cannot make it to the meeting, you can get a package and weight-in at any class you are attending the first week of the session. 

If you cannot make it to the meeting, please send an email to receive your application to complete and send back. Please make sure to also schedule an appointment for a weight-in.

If you are competing in the fitness challenge, you do not need to be weighted but an application MUST be completed. 

All applicants must be signed up for at least one of Tiazza's classes. See the class schedule


  • Sign up for one of Tiazza's classes
  • Get your first weight-in
  • Take as many of Tiazza's classes as you can. You only need to sign up for one class and attend any other class you wish.
  • Take the other participating community classes taught by other instructors. A list of participating community classes will be in your challenge package that will be handed to you after your application is complete
  • Attend and participate in the community events that qualify for points. See the list of events in your competition package


  • Keep track of your attendance and points. A points' card will be in your challenge package
  • Get your final weight-in recorded, hand out your points' card at the end of the 8 weeks period and a winner will be announced after the results and records are analyzed
  • The fitness category winner: is the one who collected the most points meaning attended the most number of classes and events
  • The weight loss category winner: is the one who recorded the highest weight loss percentage and collected at least 120 points
the points system is clearly explained in your competition package



Several local businesses are sponsoring this competition and are generous enough to provide few prizes for the winners. Examples of prizes would include gift certificates to salons, spas, gift stores, a makeover photo shoot by a professional photographer, free dance and fitness class passes and more ...
